But there are still plenty of rocks; do not take the boat where there are birds....
In Lock 31 at Buckhorn, we had to get around this houseboat to enter the lock.

This is Rottenstone, the narrows between Fox and Nichol Islands.
Not all is perfect here. Could not understand why all these boats were gathered. There was a seaplane taking off that hit a pontoon boat, with several injuries. Note the upside down seaplane.
We have passed or been passed by these lovely Canadians Judy and Glen on Soul Passage at least 6 times, starting in Mannasquan, NJ!

The canal here is very busy.

Every Thursday there is an evening concert at the Lock 32 Park. BTW, it stays light really late here because it is so far north. It will even stay light longer in Georgian Bay and The North Channel.
